Donations & Sponsorships

Donors make tremendous contributions to our park district through their generosity in provision of trees, benches, statues, disc golf course, Patty Turner Senior Center and more! Businesses and individuals have sponsored events such as Tinman Triathlon, Deer Dash (photo top left), Halloween Hoopla (photo center), Deerfield Family Theater, (photo second from right) Parent/Child and Family events (second from left) and Foundation Golf Outings and other events (photo far right). Since its establishment in 1983, the Deerfield Park Foundation has been
accomplishing its primary goal: “to promote and develop recreation facilities and services in the Deerfield Park District.” By soliciting tax-deductible contributions from individuals, corporations, businesses and community organizations, the Foundation is able to supplement and improve existing leisure and recreation programs and services. The Park Foundation publishes an annual newsletter DFP News (1.2 MB PDF file) -please check out this 2008 edition.

Both are open to all adults and conducted at the Deerfield Golf Club. Events include food/beverages, contests, auctions, prizes and more. The Park Foundation is currently planning a new joint event with the Deerfield District 109 Education Foundation for Sunday, April 26, beginning at 1:30 p.m., related to "Earth Day" / "Go Green" themes.
