Outdoor Adventures Camp - Activity #434019

Campers will have the opportunity to learn skills in various outdoor activities and practice those skills while camping in Wisconsin. Campers will spend their first day at camp in the Chicago area. That day will be spent kayaking in Lake Michigan and preparing for the camping trip. Tuesday through Friday will encompass a four-day, three-night multi-sport outing to Devil’s Lake State Park and the Lower Wisconsin River. Activities will include rock climbing, hiking and sea kayaking. Certified instructors from Northwest Passage will assist park district staff in introducing campers to various equipment, skills, techniques and safety Guidelines. Depending on weather, alternative sites and activities may be substituted.
