Feldenkrais

Activity #113234 (Fall) / #213234 (Winter) / #313234 (Spring)

Our habits, formed through life experiences, can either help us or hinder us. Unless we understand what our habits are, we are unable to change them. Learn the gentle Feldenkrais Method® to improve energy, reduce stress, breath more easily and move with more pleasure, ease, and grace. This method teaches students of all levels of fitness to become aware of their bodies, to notice unhealthy and unnecessary movement patterns (habits) and learn more comfortable and efficient ways to move. It is not stretching or vigorous exercise, and it is taught with a “less is more” attitude. Joyce-Ann Marsh is a Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist and a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner.

Location: Patty Turner Senior Center
Instructor: Joyce Ann-Marsh
