Hershey Track and Field Meet - # 333302

This national program introduces boys and girls to physical fitness through basic track and field events. Winners in each age group of this local meet will advance to the state meet held in June. Winners at the state meet have the possibility of representing the regional team (7 states and Canadian Provinces) at the national meet in Hershey, PA.

Anyone signing up for the meet must also fill out a local meet entry form (at the JPCC registration office) and may participate in a maximum 3 events (cannot all be running events).

Events per age group: (as of 12/31/08)

Ages 9-10: 50m dash, 100m dash, 200m dash, 400m dash, 4x100m relay (must sign up as part of a team), standing long jump, softball throw

Ages 11-12: 100m dash, 200m dash, 400m dash, 800m run, 4x100m relay (must sign up as part of a team), standing long jump, softball throw

Ages 13-14: 100m dash, 200m dash, 800m run, 1600m run, 4x100m relay (must sign up as part of a team), standing long jump, softball throw
